It would be great if they provided small samples of each. The pizza place was good. The lunch place provided an array of food, it was nice to try a sample of each. “This was our first time in Italy, and booking a food tour and Villa Balbianello tour with Elena on our first day in Bellagio was a stroke of good fortune. She was an amazing tour guide, the food was incredible, the boat ride bellisimo, Elena is as knowledgeable as she is personable. “Group of 5 riders all physically fit but not experienced bikers. The views and the stops were exceptional but we were not given sufficient instructions for the bikes and most of the ride is up hill! the description for this tour should explain the level of biking experience needed and the incline of the terrain. The first 20 minutes is straight up hill, very difficult if bike is not operating correctly. Too difficult for many but worth the effort if informed of the skills needed.”

“It’s interesting to watch the production of cheese which you can try later during the tasting. Inside the diary, the smell is quite intense, so you’d better be prepared for such “attractions”. We were in a group of Italians and foreigners, thus the guide spoke mostly in Italian while there was a very little explanation in English only, which was a bit frustrating (in my opinion it shouldn’t be even mixed). You cannot take any photos inside of production line which is a bit disappointing too.”

“Great experience. Our hosts were friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed 5 very ample glasses of wine. Since this was in a wine store ( vs winery) we were able to sample wines from around the region, some we had never heard of. They also provided a great charcuterie platter and a pasta dish, more than enough for lunch. Only hitch was that the hosts had not been aware of the villa tickets, but honestly at that point we did not care.”
